ABOUT ME

Kristelle Basson is a New Zealand salon design specialist with more than a decade of experience across the hair and beauty industry, including salon operations, business development, salon furniture, and interior design. Beginning her career on the salon floor, she developed an in-depth understanding of the stylist–client relationship and the impact that thoughtful, functional design has on daily workflow and client experience.

Kristelle went on to lead and grow the New Zealand division of a major international salon furniture brand, becoming known for her strong design eye, deep industry insight, and commitment to helping salon owners create profitable, efficient spaces. Her expertise in salon layouts, 3D planning, and custom furniture solutions positioned her as a trusted advisor to salons nationwide.

Driven by her passion for beautiful, purpose-built interiors, Kristelle founded Salon Design Solutions, a company dedicated to transforming hair salons, beauty clinics, barbers, and spa environments across New Zealand. Her unique blend of creative vision, commercial strategy, and hands-on industry experience allows her to design spaces that elevate brand identity, enhance functionality, and support long-term business growth.
